The little monkey is 6 months!

Last weekend, I had a three day weekend from work, so I jump on an airplane and flew to Denver for a weekend with the Richtsmeiers! Evan and I went swimming which he really enjoys! Lots of splashing and kicking in the water was so much fun. Lets see....11 1/2 years before I get him into scuba diving...the countdown is on! He got to have lots of fun time with Auntie Dawn. Wendy was pretty smart....she said in the morning usually after she feeds him, he lays in bed with Nick and watches the ceiling fan and talks and its great snuggling time, and ususally he falls back asleep. So sunday morning at 6am here comes Evan into my bed! Like I said, pretty smart on Wendy's part... there was no sleeping for Evan or me, but wendy and nick got 2 more hours of sleep! All worth it for me! Wendy, Nick, and Evan are coming to Michigan near the end of July. I'm very excited as I will be returning from Orlando just a few days before, so I get to spend some time with them! I think I have unofficially become Evan's photographer, I hope you enjoy his 6 month pictures!

In March the SASS group of 17 traveled halfway across the world to experience 2 weeks of diving in the Philippines. The first week we stayed aboard the Stella Maris, a liveaboard, where we dove the Tubbataha reef which took about 11 hours to get there from Puerta Princessa. Eat, dive, Eat, Dive, sleep, dive, eat...that was the daily routine on the boat. The 5 dives a day with great weather was more than I could have asked for. From there we flew back to Manila, then another short flight to Dumaguete. We stayed at the Bahura resort which was WONDERFUL! Our bathroom was bigger than our entire room on the boat! 2-3 dives a day, plus 5 star gourmet food that was prepared for us everyday! Plus, we were able to do beach dives directly in front of the resort which had a great reef, including the infamous mandarin fish. Overall, the trip was wonderful!

So, I've been bad with the blogging update. Sorry! Decemeber was very busy! The first weekend I visited Wendy and Nick in Denver and spent quality time with my new nephew Evan. What a little honey he is and I love being an auntie! Then the following weekend was a Holiday party for the Pediatric Heart Center at the War Opera House in San Francisco. The following weekend I was back in Michigan. For all of you that was wondering why we got all that snow, its because of me,and I'm sorry for that!!! :) But I certainly enjoyed the white stuff. Didn't care too much for the wind gusts or the ice or the rain or the thunderstorms or flooding! My week with family and friends was fantastic!! Went by way too fast! Now I'm in Fresno, Ca working at Children's Hosptial Central California. Its about a 300 bed childrens hospital. So far so good! The peeps are great, docs are friendly and the town is wonderful. And I'm in a super nice and SAFE area! What a concept! My new company is doing a great job! I hope everyone has a wonderful new year!

Halloween San Francisco Style

Hollywood Devil
Big Bird and Beaker

70's retro girl and her dog, Buster

Halloween was great! I dressed up as a hollywood devil, Charisse as a 70's girl, her husband was a dog, Mo was a groovy big bird, and her manchop Patick was Beaker from the muppets. We went to see Nathan's band Albino play. Obviously we had a great time!
